Returns for Damaged or Incorrect Goods
In the highly rare instance that your parcel suffers physical damage during transit, or if you receive an incorrect product, you are fully eligible for a comprehensive replacement or refund under these strict criteria:
- Timeframe: You must alert our support infrastructure within 48 hours of package delivery by emailing info@janakihaat.com or calling +91-9310317600.
- Mandatory Requirement: To prevent fraud, your claim must be accompanied by an unedited, continuous digital video recording of the unboxing process, clearly highlighting the damage or product disparity from the moment the sealed outer courier tape is broken.
General Returns Conditions
Due to the hyper-delicate nature of original folk paintings (like Madhubani), specialized grass weaves (Sikki), and personal heritage textiles, we cannot accept standard returns or exchanges based on subjective changes of mind or personal preference variance.
Returns are disqualified if the merchandise displays signs of usage, physical altering, washing, or if the original artisan tags and protective packaging have been discarded.
Processing Matrix for Approved Refunds
Once your damage/disparity claim is assessed and formally approved by our review team, a reverse-pickup will be coordinated by our logistics team. Upon structural receipt and verification at our warehouse, refunds are initiated swiftly.
The amount will reflect directly in your original source payment account or designated bank account within 7 to 10 operational business days, in full alignment with standard banking regulations.
